The absolutely best trip. Guides Mollee and Yessinia were just so incredibly patient, helpful, organized and professional and their birding eyes and knowledge in the field is spectacular. Lodging was top notch as was the food and transportation. The weather was overcast mostly but the temps were perfect and my 9 other birding buds were just very cool people. Hillstar runs a very good ship and I felt privileged to be on such an adventure with Mollee and Yessinia.

I really enjoyed the itinerary, the guides, and the lodging. And the birding was fantastic! I also liked the pace of this trip, which suited my companions, less experienced birders. Great trip, my first to Colombia. My only suggestion would be to retain the domestic flight between Cali and Medellin - that day on the road was too long. While the extra day at the hotel in Jardin was good, I'm not sure it was worth the entire day in a van. Finally, a very minor point - the trip details shared with the participants mention one alcoholic drink/day as part of the trip, but our guide was unaware of that. We paid for all drinks, including wine. A minor point that might suggest changing the trip details that are emailed to the participants. Thanks for a great time!
